BETTER WITH BREAKFAST

All children deserve a healthy breakfast to start their day. Not only do children who eat a healthy breakfast perform better in school, they have fewer behavioral problems. Unfortunately, many children in our community go hungry in the morning.

We can do better, together.

United Way’s Better With Breakfast initiative — created in partnership with No Kid Hungry — works to help schools and districts change their school breakfast programs to make them more accessible to all students. We offer one-on-one support to help schools transition to the Better With Breakfast model. The result? More full stomachs and a greater focus on learning.
