Before the COVID-19 outbreak hit Southeastern Michigan, nearly half of the families in our region were already struggling to meet their basic needs. Now, the problem has grown.
United Way works to build communities of stable households and thriving children and volunteers are critical to this mission. United Way’s Seasons of Caring connects individuals, corporate teams and community groups to meaningful volunteer work. Sponsored by Penske Corp., Seasons of Caring gives every person a way to give back year-round in ways that fit their lives and is meaningful to our mission.
And as we work to support families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, volunteer support is more important than ever.
United Way and our partners have come together to find new ways for volunteers to make a difference during this time of dire need while still staying safe. From tutoring students online to packing and delivering food to homebound seniors to gathering supplies for your neighbors in need, there are so many easy and rewarding ways to give back to your community.
Join United Way as a volunteer and help our community recover.
